Helm is continuing to develop their workforce with new appointment Ian Randall-Short who will be become one of Helms Contract Managers.
Plans have been put in place for a new 1,290 home development East of Harry Stoke in South Gloucestershire after approval was recommended. The proposed development will be built on farmland which was initially protected by the green belt; but after it was removed in 2013 it has been included in the Councils strategy for housing.
Work has begun on the project at Lydstep terrace. The development includes the construction of nine high-end city dwellings set over four floors along with two shell and core units for a café and nursery school. The site is located in central Bristol and is going to be revitalising an old factory brownfield site overlooking the popular Dame Emily Park in Bedminster.
Figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have revealed that August brought about a third month of increase in construction output.

Hampton Road development has now officially been completed. The development now consists of 9 apartments. Eight of the apartments contain 2 bedrooms and one flat has 3 bedrooms. Each flat has an open plan kitchen and living area and the flats are situated over 2 floors with a bike store on the ground floor.
After ongoing plans for Bristol’s proposed £123million Arena have been officially withdrawn, it has now been revealed by Bristol City Council that a new proposal for a mixed-use scheme will take place instead on Temple Island.
August 31st saw a momentous occasion for Bristol as the freshly branded “Bristol Bears” stormed to a 17-10 victory over local West Country rivals Bath Rugby on the opening night of their Gallagher Premiership return.
