Leading Bristol builder Helm Construction has been selected to take forward a high profile conversion scheme at the former Redland High School in Woodstock Road.
Helm Construction has won the contract from developer Westbury Guild to convert the former Bursary building into six luxury apartments.
The project is Helm Construction’s fourth project on behalf of Westbury Guild.
Chief Executive Gary Sheppard said: “This is a major win for us – the school has been a landmark in the city for years and it is important we deliver a top class scheme.”
“This is the fourth project we will be delivering for Westbury Guild – which underlines the importance of building a strong business relationship within the sector.”
The site became available after Redland High School announced plans to merge with nearby Red Maids’ School in September 2017 to become Redmaids’ High School based in Westbury-on-Trym.
