The Portland Square project was a tight, inner city site, with no storage and limited parking.
As there was no space for a site cabin, a collapsible welfare unit was acquired. In order to store materials effectively on site, materials were brought in at the early stages of the job which involved careful planning. The build was carried out in levels so materials could be stored on site and brought up a level at a time as and when required. Consistent planning was required a level at a time to ensure this method worked effectively.
All three, two bedroom flats were sold and the project was completed on time and on budget. The flats have added value to a prestigious area of Bristol and keeps in with the areas Georgian façade.
