Project: A plot of two semi-detached houses and a refurbishment of one, three bedroom house
Client: David Gharvi
Contract Value: £240,000
The development has come as a result of the client (David Gharvi) buying the existing house, No.59 that had a considerably large garden. Planning was granted for the 2 new builds to be built in the back garden of No.59 while the existing property had a full refurbishment.
When we arrived on site we made access, carried out a reduced dig and cleared the site, which then allowed us to begin the construction. We had reduced access around the site and also had a public right of way to the front boundary. This was used by disabled and elderly people so the path needed to remain clean and clear throughout the entire construction process. Due to space constraints of working in a small residential street, the existing property was taken on as the canteen and office facility. This was in a specific room of the house so the refurbishment works could take place in other areas of the house.
After a recent Health and Safety executive visited site, we were told “we are very happy with how everything has been run on-site and I am extremely happy with the professional standards and qualifications of the site personnel”.
Our Client, David Gharvi, has been extremely happy with the build process so far who has also filmed certain key stages on site for their own records.
The project is currently on track and due to complete in Spring, 2017.
